Global Racing Oil (GRO) has signed an agreement to continue sponsoring Nil Solans, accompanying him in his third consecutive season competing with a full programme in the World Rally Championship. The Ford driver’s season will start on 28 and 31 March in the Tour of Corsica.

Solans will drive with Marc Martí as co-driver for one more season. He will compete with a Ford Fiesta R5 in the WRC2 category, enrolled in the M-Sport team.

The partnership between the two parties began in 2017, when Solans took both the Junior and WRC3 world titles, before starting to drive an entire season in WRC2 in 2018. This season, the objective of the Nil Solans-GRO-Ford tandem is to fight for victories in the WRC2 category of the world championship, a section where there is room for a good number of young people willing to seek an official seat in one of the brands that fight for the WRC.

“I use GRO in every vehicle I use, whether it’s cars, motorcycles or go-karts. Their quality and good performance gives me confidence and peace of mind,” said the world champion. In fact, GRO has a greater extension in the world of two-wheels, expanding in recent years to various categories of four-wheels, both in karting and in cars and trucks.
